Grant writing workshop on May 30
The Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce and Ida Rupp Public Library are offering a free workshop, Grant Writing Basics, May 30 at the Ida Rupp Public Library.
Library Director Debbie Loiacono will focus on basics for small business start-ups and individuals.
Topics include parts of the grant proposal, who can apply, finding grant opportunities that fit, writing the letter of inquiry, writing the cover letter and writing the proposal.
Registration is at 8 a.m. and the program begins at 8:30 a.m. To register, call the Chamber at 419-734-5503.
Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War
Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War, a traveling exhibition for libraries, was organized by the National Constitution Center and the American Library Association Public Programs Office. The traveling exhibition has been made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War is based on an exhibition of the same name developed by the National Constitution Center.
The exhibit will be at the library from June 28th until August 1st.
Friends of the Library Booksale on May 26 from 10:00am - 2:00pm
