Staff Anniversaries - May 2023

The library would be nowhere without it's staff. Throughout the year, we'd like to celebrate our amazing staff by recognizing them in their anniversary month. This month marks the anniversaries of Jane, Sue, and Besty. Jane is out at our Marblehead branch, and Sue and Betsy are at the Erie Islands branch on the Island.

Jane

Job Title: Substitute Clerk

Favorite part: checking patrons' books in and out-especially for the children. I wish I could work even more!

Reading: Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass.

Sue

Job Title: Associate Clerk

Favorite part: I love shelving books and sending books to the many different libraries. I am surprised at how many different libraries our books travel to.

Reading: Separated by Jacob Soboroff and Flashback by Nevada Barr. I like reading mysteries.

Betsy

Job Title: Clerk

Favorite part: I love meeting our patrons and hearing about what they are reading.

Reading: I read non fiction almost exclusively, and I usually have a pile of 2-3 books by my bedside at any time. I'm currently reading When McKinsey Comes to Town. Next in the pile is a book called The Psychology of Money.
